DANGEROUS LOVE

Its was a lazy summer afternoon when Sonia an independent girl who had left her home two years back and came to study in this city like Delhi. Delhi a city where dreams find a hope to fulfill was a destination for Sonia and her passion to fight for all the injustice. She was cleaning her room when she found some old photographs. Dusty but rather a reminder of the past that was beautiful hut sad because those photographs has that one person the person who is the only inspiration behind almost all that she had ever wrote. He was Nikhil. She was gone back where the picture is being click. The farewell night when all people were drunk and dancing, she was there near the bar starring to a guy on the dance floor thinking that what would happened if she ever told him. Told him that she fell in love every time he pass by her, every time he waved at her but she never had the power to tell him. Just then she saw him coming towards her and the way her heart beats at that time. He came to her with a request to click that one last photo with her. Suddenly the doorbell rang and she was back in her room the photograph still in her hand beginning to fell from her hand when she grabs it and puts it on the table. She opened the door and it was a letter. A letter? She inquired who could sent her a letter she tries to imagine, she hurriedly went back and open it. It was an invitation to the school reunion, her own school reunion in next week. The next moment she was excited and started packing her bag with the most beautiful dresses she had. She really found herself standing in the front of the mirror for hours just looking at herself. She just wanted to meet him every minute was counted by her. At last that day came when  her train was to leave, she reach early at the station and began to wait. She didn't knew how Nikhil looked now, has he gained weight or has he lost some all these question was on  her mind all the way to her hometown.  When she reached there it was kind of whole package of memories just streaming on her mind. She could see little girl has came out from her memories and started playing pebbles just as she used to do. She still had sometime when the reunion was going to start. She first made her way to her home. That gates were broken that was a kind of swing on which she and Nikhil used to play when they were so young that they could fight over a broken pencil. She never understood how they grow up to fight over her broke heart and how did he cut their friendship ties. She never knew her love was much more stronger than their friendship. Suddenly she felt a guilt that she should never have told him about her love and she even felt a guilt of loving him even now after she know that maybe he have already moved ahead in life. The day of the reunion when everybody was supposed to meet in the same school hall where once they had given farewell. She climbed those steps to the hall and waited. One by everybody started entering and greeting everyone. Old memories began to refresh old faces from the curtain of memories begun to come alive.  Just then she heard a voice and from the light two shadows came in, it was Nikhil and his lovely wife Naina. Everybody ran towards them and Nikhil introducing his wife to everybody. Sonia just stuck there cause she didn't knew how to face him, he who have given her so much to write on. Despite he broke her heart she still loved him somewhere down the lane. Nikhil saw Sonia sitting at the bar and decided to talk with her he moved though the crowd and greet her. “hi, Sonia how are you? Long time” said Nikhil “hey, yes long time I am fine you tell” said Sonia. The conversation did carry on for a long time and Sonia's heart was on the top of the  world. There was some thing unusual about that moment was it that Nikhil's wife Naina was sitting alone and nobody cared about her neither Nikhil nor other friends. So Naina couldn't cope with this avoidance and started drinking alcohol. When she became high she just dropped down from the chair. Everybody then noticed her and informed Nikhil about this situation. Nikhil and Sonia took her to Nikhil's house. At his home, Nikhil and Sonia make Naina sleep on the bed comfortably and close the room's door. They both soon began to drink and talk about their school life almost everything about their life. Then Nikhil asked her the strangest question. Do you still love me?. She was stunned for a moment then answered Yes.
He looked in her eyes then said 'its late stay her I want to know you more' she said 'ok' . That night was dark maybe darkest night of Sonia's life. It was when he took her to the bedroom Sonia felt something unusual in her throat. She felt her head heavy and her eyes dizzy so she just slept there because she couldn't move. She could feel hard hands over her body but she couldn't move a bit. Next morning when the sun shined with his darkest light. She got off the bed but she couldn't stand, she felt like crying how could the man she love can do something like this to her. She planned to tell Nikhil's wife, Naina everything about  last night every feeling she had for him that pushed her to do something like this but even now she thought that somewhere it was her own fault that why she couldn't go to her. Everything was troubling Sonia from telephone calls to doorbells. Just she rec ivied a MMS on her phone from an unknown number, she opened it found herself in it and there was another message that came soon after it which reads “if you tell anyone about  our meeting yesterday night this MMS would be broadcast. She began to cry and fears began to run all over her body. She did not know how to face everybody who thought that she was a decent lady. Then again she thought that now when Nikhil is to blame his wife Naina has to know everything that's true so she decided to go to her. While climbing the stairs she was going though the whole conversation in her head that how should she go  ahead with this topic. Sonia rang the bell and waited with sweat running down her face, Naina opened the door and gave her a little smile and said 'welcome' as if she was expecting her. Sonia goes in and heard Naina bolting the door from behind, Naina asked Sonia to sit on the sofa she sat there carefully. Sonia started telling her everything one by one and Naina listened it carefully she even told her that Nikhil has even made the video of what happened that night.
  After Sonia told everything to Naina there was a long awkward pause when both of them had nothing to say  to each other and then suddenly Naina began laughing very loudly. Sonia was unable to understand the reason behind this kind of laughter. That's when Naina held Sonia hand tightly and said “baby, you did a awesome job that night, we are so happy and the next time you will also get pay for it.”. As soon as Sonia was able to realized that what was happening she felt a rode on her head and she fell on the floor. When she woke up she was on a bed, her hands and legs tied from the bedpost, she couldn’t move an inch. Sonia called out “Help! Help! Help! Help!” but nobody listened and she tried  unbuckle those ropes with her fingers dug into the ropes and used them to loosen it but it was useless. Just then she heard some noises outside the door, she stopped for a movement the door knob moved and clicked a man was standing there completely unknown to her, he stepped in and closed the door from behind. “Don't touch me! Don't touch me!” she shouted in a hustle but the man didn't listened and kept on coming close to her. There was no way she could get away from this situation. Suddenly her hands became free from the rope and she used both her hands to hit The man on his head. She adjusted  her cloths, opened the door and ran out of the house. Naina did ran after Sonia to catch hold of her but it was of no use, Sonia had already crossed the road and ran home. Meanwhile Naina had called Nikhil and told his all about this situation. Nikhil went on to search for Sonia all over the city, he even called all his people of his racket to launch out wide search for her. The found Sonia hiding at an old woman's house, they dragged her out of that house and took her to Nikhil. Nikhil and Naina were sitting on sofa in their home when Sonia was being brought and thrown on the floor.
   “So did you think you could get away from us so easily?” asked Naina with anger in the tone, “ how can I let you go baby, I love you so much” Nikhil commented with a loud laughter. “ I just hate you now Mr. Nikhil” cried Sonia. “ Aww! Baby don''t be so selfish now, just do us some favors, baby! By the way this sex racket is very large but there is nobody like you, so pure so interesting” said Nikhil while touching her cheek. Sonia hit her leg in between Nikhil's legs and as soon as she stood up policemen streamed into the house and arrested Nikhil and his wife Naina. “Sonia????” Nikhil asked confused. “ No, I am Inspector Sonia Rai Mr. Nikhil, the head of sex racket. You are under arrest. Said inspector Sonia. I have been looking for you from over a month and this was all my plan, I manipulated you both and see you're now my hands.
     “Congratulations, inspector Rai you will be awarded for your work” said ACP Sanjeev Gupta..........
