Son: hello mom
Mom: how are you beta? Long time..
Son: hmmm... I'm good Maa!!
Mom: what happened son~??
Son: nothing Maa...
Mom: there's something... You aren't telling me.. what happened?
Son: Mom I am getting married..
Mom: What??? Did I sent you abroad for this~? I want you to concentrate on your studies.
Son: Mom, but I am in love with Priya...
Mom: who is she, and what does she do~?
Son: she's an Indian, a writer and  she has a good job here.
Mom: great, but I would have preferred that you marry a girl of my choice, but it's okay, I'm happy.
Son: but.. mom . I love you and I don't want to hurt you or betray you.
Mom: What happened son.. now you are starting to scare me.
Son: the girl that I am in love with...
Mom: Say son..Say...
Son: Mom.....

The Long Walk

Pulling up myself up the floor, I was 14.. when I learned to walk, Walking without support was a family dream, That I didn't thought could ever come true, I sat there.. wondering how could people walk.. without falling back?, I sat here.. there.. Everywhere because I couldn't walk, I used to believe that walking was a gift .. that God forgot to shower on me, So.. I learned to compensate... Compensate the lack of walking, As walking was an unachievable goal, For someone with 60% disability, To the sense of listening and observing, When a kid first learn to walk.. 1. Oh.. you are on a wheelchair, can't you walk?? A. No no aunty.. I can walk.. I just sit on it for fun!!!! 2. Oh.. you are done with your Masters .. now what will do?? Get bored at home.. poor child.. itna padh ke kya fayda hua??Ab tu aur thodi padhegi! A. Nhi aunty.. kuch nhI hua, bas 2-3 jagah apply kiya h.. mere mom dad ko problem nhi h.. apko kya h?? 3. Tu 24 ki hogyi?? Normal hoti toh ab tak shaad ho jati.  Ab koi chance nhi h!! A. Thank God aunty, ladkiyo ka life ka main aim shaadi hi toh h... But thank God that I am way out of the league!!! 4.
